Handmade and designed by me, the Tamara Earrings are made using beads from old jewellery, upcycled to create these beautiful and unique earrings. I have also incorporated gorgeous Swarovski Crystals, freshwater pearls and used 14K gold filled so they are hypoallergenic, for sensitive ears, and will not tarnish. The beads I've used are from my partners grandmothers old jewellery and in my opinion have a very 70's vibe to it, which I love! The last photo shows the bracelet that these beads were once a part of, as you can see it is very tarnished and old and so I thought why not cut out the beads and make them into something new! That is what I love about upcycling, the ability to use what already exsists and make it into something people will use today. It is so important to make use of what we already have and be sustainable.
